cyber life?

Some people may know (or not know) that I've had a website since early 1996. My first website was a static html with light beige background and dark purple text. It was a 2 column page with a caption at the top. On the left was an image of one of my paintings; on the right was a 'welcome to my website...' kind of thing. The caption was just text (robinart) and at the bottom of the website was a little ani cat that ran from one side to another.

Inspiration and class projects

imageSo our class project was to find a website and an object (which could be photographed) which inspires us in terms of design. Inspiration is a really hard thing for me to define in such limited terms, although I am inspired on a regular basis. In fact, I'm full of ideas which are refractions and reflections of objects I see, ideas from people that I meet, words in conversation, etc. I am seriously considering changing my project from something color related to a website on spirals.

this is kind of cool...

My IT class project group was referenced for our second project, a short presentation about constructivist theory which we also all cross- posted on our blogs. The instructor who referenced us teaches Instructional Technology at Arkansas Tech Univ. Kind of neat, hmm?http://scottadams.blogs.com/teachergeek/2004/09/edit_6100_const.html

Metamoonlighting

Wow! I finally finished my part of the Digital Library of Georgia project in metamoonlighting. We (the metamoonlighters) were each assigning LC subject headings for a collection of photos. I had a group of photos from a Black History collection; my second batch was from Hall Co.My favorite subject headings that I got to use were Balls (Parties); Beauty contestants (ba ha ha ha!); and Tornadoes--Georgia (wow!)Now, on to finish the rest of my professional dev projects.
